Over 70% of cancer patients treated with one dose of Magic Mushrooms reported positive life changes

In a study published online in the Journal of Psychopharmacology, a single dose of psilocybin in combination with psychotherapy led to a 70% reduction of symptoms in cancer patients who lasted more than four years, according to a new study.

The findings follow a 2016 study that linked psilocybin, a substance found in psychedelic mushrooms, to significant improvements in anxiety and depression. The study involved 29 cancer patients, all of whom received a single dose of psilocybin or a placebo.
